Welcome to Contin Village

Come and visit. It's wonderful here.

Lots of our residents came for a visit and never left!

Welcome to our website bringing together all the best of what we have to offer visitors and residents alike. We have a proud history that can be traced back to 7th Century.

Our website brings together all the amenities you can find in Contin and gives you the information you need to make the most of your time here.  Whether you’re passing through on the NC500 or live in the village, we hope there is something here for you.

As Wikipedia will tell you, Contin, in Gaelic – Cunndainn is a Ross-Shire village, and a civil parish and community council area between Strathpeffer and Garve in the Highlands of Scotland.  We are based around the A835, at the start of the NC500 and the beginning of when things start getting even more interesting.  We are also only a short journey to Inverness, giving you easy access to the benefits of the Highland Capital.

Keep looking for more information on local walks, local businesses and more about what we think makes Contin a special place to be.
