Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) is undertaking a review of car parks and are looking to introduce charges at Rogie Falls and Contin Forest. FLS currently charge for parking at 48 of its sites to help maintain
visitor facilities.
Blue Badge holders park free of charge. This is a joint initiative with FLS and Highland Council, aiming to improve the area and pay for maintenance of the toilets.
FLS plan to offer an Annual Parking Pass which will provide better value for regular visitors. Many of FLS other car parks will remain free of charge to all visitors – more information can be found at Car Parking – Forestry and Land Scotland. FLS welcomes your thoughts on this proposal and can discuss any concerns you may have.
The Contin Post has already heard a few concerns expressed about these parking charges and we also welcome your thoughts on this proposal.
