SUCCESS FOR CONTIN MAIN IN LOCAL RALLY

Saturday 4 March saw 2 stages of the annual Snowman Rally take place in Tor Achilty forest (Rogie stages). As usual the event was well attended by keen spectators, blessed with good weather for their long wait for the
action to start. Local driver, Martin Crombie (with co- driver Terry Mallin) started early stages making their way up the rankings in their class, M6, in the Subaru. After several heart- stopping moments for the Crombie
Motorsport spectators watching and waiting in the Rogie stages, relying on tracking technology to keep them updated once Martin had passed their viewpoint, it finally emerged that Martin had secured first in
class.

This is no mean feat for a first year in the Snowman competing in this car and class. An excellent and well deserved result for Martin, his family, supporters and sponsors. Here’s hoping for similar success in the
Speyside stages next month.
